    • About Ebru Art - Painting on Water)

Marbling Art is the art of drops of colors that are made to create paintings on water that is thickened with a special formula. After the artist is satisfied with his or her painting over the water, it is time to put a piece of paper or fabric on top of the water. Once it’s lifted off of the water, the painting is transferred from the water onto the fabric or paper. Every piece of Marbling Art is unique because it is not possible to paint an exact design over the water again. It is a magical way to reflect your emotions and inner thoughts onto the water with your choice of colors. For more information please visit the instructor’s website, www.humeyramavruk.jimdo.com. Supplies needed: 25 sheets of 8.5” x 11” paper, 1 medium size aluminum baking tray, paper towels, Jacquard Marbling Kit for fabric and paper. The Jacquard Marbling Kit for Fabric and Paper can be found online at Amazon.com.
